A few years ago, long time friend and editor of Cruising World Magazine took on one of the most dangerous and liver bending andventures in his life. The Magazine sent him to the Virgin Islands to find out the inner workings of Barefoot Davis.. when the fog cleared and the hangovers subsided resulted an article in the magazine that was bigger than the americas cup coverage. i learned at the annapolis boat show that the adventure is now published in Herb's new book GONE TO THE SEA.. the book contains some of herb's adventures over the years on assignment.. it is an honor to be part of a series of short stories in the book... the book is available on AMAZON.COM...ENJOY

Went  back to st.Croix on saturaday to play at Rainbow Beach Bar..for you folks that don't know what a beach bar is, here goes... Rainbow is literally on the beach. the stage faces west . and you can toss a cold beer to someone swimming in the ocean..i performed with another beach bum , Web,who operates a snorkle and dive bussiness in st.thomas..we each sang about half hour sets as not to cut into our drinking time.. if it ghet to hot on stage, you simply jump into the ocean for a swim.. the bar staff consist of two smokin' hot bartenders,wearing bathing suits, and the owner ,Rob is another beach bum like us, Web , a talented songwriter, tends to sing more about drinkin,smokin, surfin,and partyin,,where i sing mostly about drinkin, smokin,sailin, and partyin... anyway,it's alway a great lime on the beach, .
